David Calcei
David Calcei is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years’ experience in public accounting and taxation. His expertise spans business advisory services and taxation for small to medium-sized enterprises, publicly listed companies, and high-net-worth individuals. David’s specialties include strategic tax planning and minimisation, business advisory, and taxation for specialised professionals such as sportspeople, performers, and inventors.
Before founding Icon Financial Management, David was a Manager at the mid-tier accounting firm Hayes Knight GTO. He has been recognised by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand for achieving results in the top 5% of candidates nationwide in the Taxation module of the CA Program, which included tax minimisation strategies.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time in Margaret River, where he also services a loyal client base across the South West Region.
Tony Donatelli
Tony Donatelli is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years’ experience in the accounting profession. Before joining Icon Financial Management, Tony served as Manager at Parkinson & Co Chartered Accountants and later as Chief Financial Officer of the highly successful Chantec, now Key Produce Group.
He has held several leadership roles across industry bodies, including President of the Chamber of Fruit & Vegetable Industries WA and Vice President of the Australian Fruit & Vegetable Industries. Tony is also the current Vice President of the Perth Car Club.
Tony’s specialties include accounting and taxation within the construction industry, mining services in the Goldfields, primary production sector, and business consulting and advisory for small to medium-sized enterprises, and accounting services for self-managed superannuation funds.
Outside of work, Tony’s passions include overseas travel, music, fishing, and classic muscle cars. He also enjoys travelling to Kalgoorlie, where he visits the Goldfields and connects with part of Icon’s loyal customer base there.
Marco Pillera
Marco Pillera is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years’ experience in the accounting profession. He began his career at Hayes Knight GTO before joining Icon Financial Management, where he has been a key member of the team for over 20 years.
Marco manages a diverse portfolio of small to medium-sized business clients across a range of industries. His specialties include Fringe Benefits Tax, self-managed superannuation fund compliance, and general business advisory. He also has extensive expertise in accounting software including MYOB, Xero, Class, Reckon and QuickBooks.
Kalini Shah
Kalini Shah is an Accountant with over 24 years’ experience in the public accounting profession. She has been a valued member of Icon Financial Management for more than 16 years and works closely with a diverse range of small to medium-sized business clients across various industries.
Kalini’s expertise includes taxation and business advisory services, with a focus on helping clients achieve efficiency and growth through practical, tailored solutions. She also has in-depth knowledge of a range of accounting software, including MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks.
Kaajal Shah
Kaajal Shah is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years’ experience in the accounting profession, the past 10 of which have been with Icon Financial Management. She services a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from small businesses to self-managed superannuation funds and takes pride in delivering practical, tailored solutions to each.
Kaajal also plays an active role in mentoring team members and assisting with the firm’s internal IT systems. She has extensive knowledge across a range of accounting software including MYOB, Xero, Class, BGL, and Reckon.
Outside of work, Kaajal enjoys catching a sunset by the beach or watching a game of footy or cricket.
Rebecca Nicolaou
Rebecca Nicolaou is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience in the accounting profession, the past five of which have been with Icon Financial Management. She services a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to self-managed superannuation funds, and is dedicated to providing clear, practical advice tailored to each client’s needs.
Rebecca also plays an active role in mentoring staff members and contributing to the professional development of the wider team. She has extensive knowledge across a range of accounting software, including MYOB, Xero, Class, BGL, and Reckon, to name a few.
Beyond her professional commitments Rebecca enjoys being involved in her children’s sporting activities and organising holiday getaways with her family and close friends.
Angela Da Luz
As Practice Manager at Icon, Angela plays a pivotal role in ensuring the firm’s day-to-day operations run seamlessly while upholding the highest standards of client service. With over 32 years of experience in the accounting sector, she brings extensive knowledge in practice management, financial administration, and corporate services.
Angela’s expertise spans across accounts payable and receivable, ASIC and corporate compliance, and the effective use of platforms such as MYOB and BGL. Since joining Icon in 2015, she has built strong relationships with both clients and team members, earning a reputation for her professionalism, efficiency, and approachable nature.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys watching AFL and cricket, spending time at local pubs, and catching live bands.
